Reporting & visibility

Reporting in LaunchBird is the state of the client work you already keep, not a slide rebuilt at month end.

What it is

Reporting & visibility shows where projects stand, how hours compare to estimates, how budgets and retainers are tracking, and what the client has actually received.

It is operational visibility into time and delivery. It is not an accounting suite or a financial analytics product.

Who uses it

Owners and project leads use reporting to staff the next week, watch retainers, and see what has been invoiced. Teammates see hours against the work they own. Clients see published updates in the portal, not internal reporting views.

How it works

Read the same records the team works from while delivery is in flight.

  • Check project reporting for milestones, progress, and what is still open
  • Compare tracked time against the estimate you scoped
  • Watch budgets and retainers next to the hours that have landed
  • Review client activity for updates, files, and requests the client has received
  • Use invoice and balance reporting for what is paid and what is still outstanding

What the client sees

Clients do not open your reporting screens. They see the updates, files, and requests you choose to publish. Your team keeps the operational picture inside the workspace.
